Enter Discord Developer Mode to copy ID's

To gain the ability to copy ID's you need to enter dev mode.

PC

On a PC like Linux, Windows, or Mac, to enter dev mode first go to your user settings, then go to "Advanced", at the top tick the slider for Developer Mode.

Mobile

On mobile platforms like Android and IOS first head to the "You" section, then click the cog to enter settings. Next, scroll down to the "App Settings" and tap on "Advanced". At the top you should find a Developer mode toggle, turn it on.

Coping a user/server ID

Right-click on the user or server and select copy ID. On mobile, open the user profile and tap the tree dots or tap the server name and scroll down select copy ID.
