How to label your NSFW content on BlueSky

Why did you make this?

Because some people find it to hard to flag their posts, or don't know how. I created this article to help teach people how to label their posts properly

Marking the post

After you have uploaded your image to the new post dialog box, select the shield with an exclamation point inside. This is the Content Warning panel.

Opening the content warning panel

This has been changed, the content warning is now located at the bottom. The button is now called "Labels"

Opening the content warning panel

Select what type on content it is, is it just suggestive? Is it non sexual nudity? Or is it porn? You can choose. Then click "Done"

You know your post is properly flagged when there is a little check mark next to the shield with an exclamation point. Now you are all set to post!

Content warning added, and ready for posting

See? Now that was not too hard was it? Do this every time you upload ANY adult content.

But I am an AD account

Does not matter, flag your posts

It's not porn

There are flags for none sexual nudity, and sexually suggestive content.

How do I know if it is adult content?

If you are asking this, probably just best to flag it anyway

But the post was flagged, it says "Flagged by BlueSky Moderation"

That means you didn't flag it, BlueSky's content flags caught it. That is still not flagged for anyone who does not use BlueSky Moderation Services. Flag your own posts.

I don't want to flag my posts

I don't want to see penis unflagged on my feed, I also don't want minors who use the platform to see penis

I am mad at you for commenting this under my post

Flag your post next time and your feelings won't be hurt.
