How to fix broken modkits
Have you ever added a car with cool spoilers, bumpers, or custom police equipment, and it does not show up in the "Mod Menu" under vMenu? This tutorial will show you have to fix that super quick!

The Modkit IDs
Like lights and sirens, modkits have IDs used by the game to identify what parts to attach to the car. These IDs are located in the carcols.meta and the carvariations.meta files. Open these files for the car that has broken modkits, in the carcols.meta locate the kitName
and id value
nodes. You should see 2 corresponding numbers, these are the modkit IDs. The carvariations.meta file also has this same ID number, locate that one too.

Great, now that you found them, it is time to adjust them to not conflict with another car. As you can see, my kit ID was "720", this conflicted with another car in my server and the modkits don't show up. Now you want to pick a new ID. It can be any number, but like light and siren IDs, you want to try and stay below 7-digit numbers to not have any issues. I picked "25879" for this example, change all three IDs to your new number, save and restart your vehicle resource.

Now you can spawn the updated car and see if your modkits are fixed, if not don't worry! Just pick another random number and replace all 3 again. It should work after a few ID changes. If you are still having problems, it could be an issue with the model. Either reach out to the developer or open a support forum in WildFyr Development's Discord server, and we might be able to help.
