Updating SoH and 2S2H

SoH or 2S2H has released a new update!

Now lets update you without loosing any save data, mods, or settings!

You can find the latest releases for SoH here, and 2S2H here.

After you download the zip file containing the latest update of either SoH or 2S2H upon the archive, and your SoH/2S2H folder.

The "Click and Drag" method

Now we want to select everything in the archive, and drag it into (or extract it) your Soh/2S2H folder, it will ask you if you want to replace files in the destination. Click "Replace the files in the destination". After it has replaced you are all set! You can now launch SoH/2S2H and play the latest update.

The "Better safe then sorry" method

If you don't feel comfortable with clicking and dragging everything all over your existing files, then this method is for you. What you are going to want to do is make a new folder in the parent directory of your SoH/2S2H folder, name it the update number and then drag the contents of the archive into it.

After you have done that, go back to your current SoH/2S2h folder and select the following:

For SoH:

shipofharkinian.json
mods
saves
oot.otr
oot-mq.otr (If you have a Master Quest ROM)

For 2S2H

2ship2harkinian.json
mods
saves
mm.o2r

After you have selected them press ctrl+c on your keyboard to copy them, go back to the new folder we made and press ctrl+v to paste them in the updated SoH/2S2H folder. Now you are all set, you can either delete the old SoH/2S2H folder or leave it, you can launch the updated game and enjoy it!
